This monument used to be a sacred holy place (church) which was initially built in 1882. Suprisingly, the whole building is not completely constructed and is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

  Cadaqués

Cadaqués is a town located in Girona province, Catalonia . It is on a bay near the Cap de Creus overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is a few hours distance to the capital city, Barcelona, and therefore it is very accessible and not only attracts tourists, but people who want a second house to have on the weekends and summers.

WHY?

• The tranquility atmosphere and its rural settings brings inner peace which makes me feel at home.
  
• Believe it or not, the place is so speechlessly beautiful and hard to believe that many artist have come to this shore to relax and gain inspiration.One of those were the infamous Artist Salvador Dali, who often visited here in his childhood, and later built a home near to the sea; Pablo Picasso were mesmerised by the simplicity of the view and Mei Fren, a local artist, who still have artworks exhibiting in museums that are trully inspired by Cadaques in remembrance of his childhood.
  
• Whether it is an advantage or not, Cadaques is occupied by a small number of population and out of any hustle and bustle in the city, which makes this place so serene and good for relaxation.
